Understand the different questions behind the metrics

LCP focuses on the appearance of main content, INP on interaction responsiveness and CLS on unexpected layout movement. The good thresholds published by web.dev are 2.5 seconds or less, 200 milliseconds or less, and 0.1 or less respectively. Field assessment uses the 75th percentile of visits.

Read these numbers alongside the visitor’s task. A quickly loaded page that fails to explain the service is still incomplete. A visually impressive page whose menu reacts late can be frustrating even when its opening image arrives promptly.

Distinguish controlled tests from visitor data

A controlled test helps diagnose issues under particular device and network conditions. Real visits include different connections, devices and patterns of use. Ask which kind of data the report contains, when it was collected and whether the sample is sufficient.

Request the test conditions, not only the supplier’s best result. A new or lightly visited page may not have enough field data yet. Missing data should not be interpreted as either an automatic pass or a failure.

Choose priorities for the first screen

The heading, explanation and main action should be available promptly. Images, video, fonts and interactive scenes need a loading order that supports those priorities. Designing a rich visual experience does not require useful text to wait for every graphics task.

Ask a simple question: “If the animation is not ready, can a visitor still understand the business and take the next step?” If not, examine the loading sequence and content presentation as well as the size of individual assets.

Evaluate motion on actual devices

For 3D scenes, resolution, lighting, shadows and offscreen rendering should be considered together. Continually rendering an invisible scene adds no visitor benefit. Reduced motion and a lighter presentation can be intentional parts of the design rather than afterthoughts.

Use a phone for several minutes and test scrolling, navigation and the contact area. Smoothness in the first second does not describe an extended session. Record which devices were available and which conditions have not been measured.

Prioritise fixes by their practical effect

For each issue, record the affected page, visitor task, suspected cause and verification method. Resolve behaviour that prevents use first, then improve assets, code and loading decisions on important pages. Keep a baseline so that subsequent changes can be compared meaningfully.

At Two Way Medya, performance is part of how a visual experience is delivered. The goal is not simply a higher report number: the website should respond consistently while visitors explore services, read an article or begin a project enquiry.

Frequently asked questions

Does a high performance score guarantee SEO results?

No. Performance must be considered alongside useful content, technical access and other search signals.

Must a 3D website be slow?

No, but resource budgets, loading order, device capability and reduced-motion behaviour need deliberate design.
